PREAMBLE
Literature is the essence of culture and knowledge. It not only provides a medium for creative expression but also serves as a bridge connecting individuals across different backgrounds and disciplines. With this belief in mind, we propose the establishment of a Literary Club at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi campus.
PURPOSE
The main aim of the club will be to promote various literary activities in the campus. To develop and encourage creative expression, and promote intellectual discourse among students.
ACTIVITIES
- Promoting the art of speaking on various platforms
- Identifying and promoting discussions on important issues
- Providing an outlet for and cultivating literary talent
- Increasing awareness on general affairs through quizzing
- Using print media, online media responsibly and providing acceptable journalism
- Workshops for debating, writing, quizzing and other literary fields development of the students
- The club activities should align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
*Activities are suggestive in nature and students can propose novel activities
MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the Literary Club is open to all UG students of ICAR-IARI campus.
HOW TO APPLY
Interested individuals can register by filling out a membership form available in The Graduate School, Academic Management System. There are no membership fees, and all members will have access to club activities and resources. For further inquiries, please contact the Club in-charge.
